How It Works
From a raw photo to a private one.
1. You upload
Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP into the browser - nothing to install, works on any device.
2. We inspect
We read every metadata field present: EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, embedded comments, camera/device info, embedded thumbnails - so we know exactly what's there before touching anything.
3. We strip, not re-encode
Metadata is removed by editing the file's metadata segments directly (via exiftool), not by decoding and re-saving the image - so your pixels are untouched, unlike some "privacy" tools that quietly degrade image quality.
4. We verify
After stripping, we re-read the file and confirm the sensitive fields are actually gone. If anything remains, we fail the job rather than hand you a file we haven't verified.
5. You download
A clean copy, ready to share. The original and any temporary files are deleted automatically shortly after.
